This word pretty much sums up what is going on in the world today, we are in the process of creating balance. Everthing from the closing of banks and loss of jobs, to the ending of relationships and the pollution of our environment, is showing us where we are out of balance.
Balance doesn’t just come about from one day to the next, it follows a specific path.
First, we need to recognize what is out of balance, be it in ourselves, our lives, or in the world around us. It is our nature is to try to aviod seeing these imbalances, so often a crisis has to occur, one that really effects us, for us to take notice that something is not what it should be. Once this is done, we need to get to the point where we can no longer live with the situation as it is and we are ready to make a change. This also occurs on a global scale, it’s called critical mass – when enough people are prepared to make a change and the movement they have initiated is strong enough to continue, spread and grow on its own power.
When this momentum is reached, the breakdown process begins. All the old ways that created and supported the imbalance begin to fall apart. It is at this time that we begin creating the new by using creativity and ingenuity to develop solutions that are balanced, supportive and empowering. Once we have the solutions we impliment them and the situation is corrected.
If we apply this theory to the global situation, we are able to recognize that we are in the stage of breaking down. The critical mass needed to bring about the change has already been reached, we are on our way to creating balance. What is now being called for is for humanity to use its creative and ingenuitive abilities to come up with new solutions. I believe we are seeing the beginning of this process at this time. We are calling out for beter governments that act responsibly and are accountable for their actions. We are demanding sustainable solutions to the way we live on this planet. And we are asking for financial and econmical systems to be changed so they support all equally and fairly.
On the personal level,we are also being challenged to be creative. Whatever in our lives is out of balance is calling us to apply the balance creating process. Think about what in your life is asking for attention. Have the courage to look and see how it isn’t supporting you or other’s highest good. Choose to make the changes that are being asked for and commit to the process of creating a new way that is fair, supportive and empowering for you and all those involved. If you are not sure how to do this then turn to those who are offering guidance and support. They are there for you, to help you find the solutions you are looking for. Follow your heart and you will be lead to the place for you.
